An electro accupuncture device is used to deliver a small electrical current  to stimulate accupuncture meridian points. The treatment has a similar effect that needle based accupuncture has but without the needles. In the clinic setting Dr. Peters uses this technique to enhance the healing of soft tissue disorders by stimulating the bodies own innate heal capacity inherent within our own cells. The treatments is also believed to balance the flow of  energy or chi throughthe body and through the area of injury or disease.

In the Richmond based Steveston Chiropractic  Clinic, this technique is used in conjunction with other chiropractic treatment protocols.
