Activator Therapy
A technique used to correct misalignment by the use of a small activator tool to apply gentle pressure which moves vertebrae and joints back into their correct position. This particular technique has been successfully used for several decades by Chiropractors world wide to provide adjustments and therapies for a wide range of complaints. Patients who prefer this type of adjustment comment on the gentle nature of the treatment and the how comfortable they feel during the course of the office visit. Many practionners find activator to be a highly desirable method of treatment for their pediatric and geriatric cases. Activator adjustments can also be utilized for adjusting other joints of the body including the extremeties and even the TMJ joint of the jaw.
